Morris H. Fausett

Morris H. Fausett, age 96, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on March 17, 2024. He was born on July 1, 1927, in Plum Bayou, Arkansas. Morris was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years, the U.S. Army for 3 years, and the U.S. Air Force for 6 years. He achieved the rank of 1st Lieutenant after attending Officer Candidate School in the U.S. Air Force and bravely fought in Korea. After his military service, Morris pursued a career as a Life Insurance sales agent in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Phoenix, Arizona. He held a Bachelor's degree in Business from Arkansas State Teachers College. In 1970, he relocated his family to Phoenix for business and fell in love with the state of Arizona. Morris was very social and loved gathering with friends. He enjoyed participating in local Little Theatre productions, reading mystery novels, and adored his pet dogs. In his retirement, he embarked on many cruise ship adventures. He is survived by his two daughters, Joy Lynn Holland of Edmond, OK, and Marty McAllister of Pacific Grove, CA. Morris was preceded in death by his father Carey Fausett and mother Frankie Goodman Fausett. He is also survived by grandchildren Brian Holland, Eric Holland, and Ashley Joy Millar, as well as great-grandchildren Forrest Holland, Elliott Holland, Lanfaye Holland, Peyton Millar, and Quinn Millar. Morris will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
