Nicolas Brian Enos

Nicholas "Nic" Brian Enos passed away in the late hours of Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was the son of the late Johnson and Naomi Enos of the Salt River Indian Community. Nic graduated from high school in Antelope Valley, California and attended Haskell Indian School in Lawrence, Kansas and Brigham Young University in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a young man, Nic served as a missionary to the Lakota people in North Dakota for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and had great respect for the people he met there and grew to love. He worked for a time with the Salt River Sand and Rock Company in the testing lab, for the Salt River Indian Community's Public Works in heavy equipment, and retired from Agate Steel located in the Salt River Community. Nic was a great mechanic, who very capably repaired and maintained his own cars, especially his Jeeps. He could be counted on when asked for help with plumbing, car breakdowns or household repairs. His kind nature made him a generous and thoughtful son, brother and friend. He is predeceased by brothers Jerry amd Leonard, sisters Joyce and Charlene. He is survived by sisters, Josie Enos, Roberta Seepie and Diane Enos, and many nieces and nephews.
