David Villacencio Reyes

David V. Reyes returned home to the lord on December 12, 2020 after a long battle with health complications. Born July 26th, 1949 in Florence, Arizona to Joe and Guadalupe Reyes, David spent his youth with his family in Florence, Arizona where he excelled in various sports and activities. A born people-person and motivator, David joined the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict in which he proudly served his country. After his first term of service was complete, he returned to the military by joining the United States Army and flourished. David married the love of his life and wife of 43 years, Loretta and together raised their family of 6 children. David had many hobbies and passions during his life along with being an avid sports fan (Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals) as well as being a professional driver with a knack for excellent navigation long before GPS existed. David is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Guadalupe V. Reyes, and his daughter Yvonne Zamarron. He is survived by his wife Loretta A.; His children Aaron Aceves, Elizabeth (Mike) Orrantia, Jamaica (Isaias) Zepeda, David X. (Kristabel) Reyes, and Gregory (Holli) Reyes. David also has 16 beloved grandchildren. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Events Details are pending.
