Jane Marion Hill

Jane Marion Hill, 84, of Phoenix, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Jane was born December 5, 1935, in Merrill, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Morris and Rosella (Koehler) Moyer. She graduated from Merrill Senior High School and then worked in manufacturing and human resources. Jane married David L. Hill on June 6, 1959. After moving to Arizona in 1968 with her husband and three children, Jane was a homemaker. She was an active member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church and her TOPS Club. Jane enjoyed reading, writing, cooking, watching her favorite television shows, and spending time with her family and friends. She made every holiday and occasion special with all her love and thoughtfulness. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered. Survivors include her husband, David Hill, of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Brenda (Curtis) Chase, of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Ott, of Carlsbad, CA; son, Daniel (Melody) Hill, of Glendale, AZ; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Meredith, Tyler, and Savannah; seven great-grandchildren, Noah, Weston, Willow, Waverlynn, Wynter, Walker and Levi; brother, Richard (Michele) Moyer, of Merrill, WI; and sister-in-law Mary Ann Kufahl, of Merrill, WI. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Rosella Moyer; brother, Arlan Moyer; and her great aunt, Frieda Schindler. A private funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 14, 2020, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Pastor Thomas Schulz will officiate.
