Jerry Allen Hill

Jerry A. Hill, of Mesa, Arizona passed away Friday (April 24, 2020) at home. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday May 2, 2020 at Gethsemane Park Apostolic Church, 111 North Sun Valley Blvd, Mesa, AZ 85207. Burial will be in Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday May 2, 2020 at Gethsemane Park Apostolic Church. Jerry A. Hill was born, April 4, 1951, and passed away on April 24, 2020. He attended Riddick elementary school and Sumner High school of Missouri where he graduated in 1970. There after he enrolled in Harris Jr. college. Jerry was enlisted in the Air Force when he retired with an Honorable discharge in June 1992. He was employed with USPS where he served for 12 years before retiring in September 2008. Deacon Jerry A. Hill accepted salvation on August 1, 2010, under the leadership of Pastor Michael Collier, Divine Word Ministries. He was an active member of Touch of Love Church, UHCA and his passion was working in the Outreach Dept. he worked tirelessly alongside the homeless community. As a result, he dedicated his time giving and contributing, and helping those in need. He helped in preparing food, assisting, and serving others with a generous spirit and a pleasant personality. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Mr. Hill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He cherished his family with great pride and love. Preceded in death by his parents John W. and Adelaide Hill, and brother Richard K. Hill. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Hill and three children Son Maurice (Twila) Hill, and two daughters Chicquita (Terrence) Moore, Cylinthia Hill; nine grandchildren; Kevin, Devon, Lyric, Cordal, Kyasia, Cordashia, Dymond, Dametria and Lee; Siblings: Sylvester (Fredia), Linda Brown, John Hill Jr., Jeffery Hill, Gene (Aurdea) Hill; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
