Kevin James Duffin

Kevin James Duffin passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 13th, 2019 at the age of 37. Kevin was born in Mesa, Arizona on December 10th, 1981 to Rex and Susan Duffin. He was the 2nd of 7 children, all of whom he preceded in death: Nathan Duffin (Kippy), Amy Clark (Johnny), Andrew Duffin, Ashley Goaslind (Dan), Tyler Duffin (Samantha), and Ammon Duffin. He also leaves his maternal grandfather, Wilson J. Dinsdale of Houston,Texas and his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Vera Duffin of Hemet, California., Kevin attended Mountain View High School and later served a mission in Atlanta, Georgia for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in scouting and received his Eagle Scout award. Kevin studied at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. There are many who appreciated Kevin's ability to make a profound improvement in their health, through Rolfing. In 2004, he married Tara Lynn Cluff. Together they had 3 beautiful children: Parker (12), Ellie (10), and Emery (7). His children were (and are) his greatest joy. Kevin later married Christina Johnson. Kevin's life was anything but ordinary. Those who have been blessed to know him, never forgot him. He loved to make people laugh with his unique sense of humor. Because of his trials and struggles in life, he was deeply sensitive to the needs of others. He was known for seeking and ministering to those who felt lonely, or down and out. Most of all, Kevin had a deep and abiding faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ. We look forward to the day when we will all be reunited with him. For now, Kevin will be greatly missed.
