Michael Paul McClain

Michael Paul McClain, 40 passed away November 21, 2018 in Chandler Regional Medical Center with his family at his side. During 2018 Mike had several hospital stays due to liver issues. The last hospital stay was less than 24 hours and his passing surprised all who knew him. Mike was a server and bar tender at Macayo's Mexican Restaurants for many years. His knowledge, sincerity, friendliness and kindness will be missed by his many relatives, friends and customers. Mike had been an Arizona resident all his life being born in Mesa May 19, 1978. He moved to Prescott in 1991 where he attended Prescott High School. Later Mike returned to the Valley of the Sun where he lived in Tempe, Ahwatukee and Phoenix. Mike is survived by his wife, Jelena (Jerolimov) McClain, their four year old son, Logan, his wife's parents, their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, Raymond McClain (wife Barbara), his mother, Judith Cameron, his two brothers, Kris (daughters Shea and Taylor along with Taylor's husband, Joshua, one niece and two nephews) and Todd (wife Sarah and daughters Justy and Alex). Mike loved his fishing, was an avid camper, liked to hike and ride his bike. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on December 2, 2018 in the Continental Villas East III clubhouse located at 2130 East Ellis Drive, Tempe AZ 85282. The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Mike to celebrate his life with them.
