Teresa Madrigal Barajas

Teresa Madrigal Barajas, a longtime resident of Mesa, died peacefully, Monday the 15th of February surrounded by friends and family. Born in 1944 in Coalcoman, Michoacan., Teresa Immigrated to the United states of America in 1985 to pursue a better life for herself and her children. Teresa came to the United states with very little, but through hard work and dedication to her family she achieved her American dream of buying a home in 2000. Teresa had a tireless work ethic. She worked 2 jobs for many years, sacrificing her own needs for the needs of her family, while raising a large number of kids, in a single parent household. She was proud to get a job at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Scottsdale where she worked for 27 years until she retired in September 2015. Teresa loved to travel to Mexico to her home town as often as she could to visit her 2 sons and other family members. She enjoyed going to the beach with friends and family, enjoying all the foods and culture that Mexico offers. From one amazing woman came all this life, survived by 9 sons: Manuel, Juan, Raul, Luis, Jesus, Adan, Daniel, Antonio, and Ramiro. 5 daughters: Vitalina, Norma, Guadalupe, Martina, and Maria Teresa. Proud Grandmother to 43 Grandkids and 33 Great grandkids.
