Frank Edwin Shill

Frank Edwin Shill, 79 passed from this life on January 4, 2016 at his home in Lehi. Frank was born in Lehi, Arizona on October 3, 1936. It was here that he grew up, made his home, raised his family, lived and died. Frank attended Mesa High School where he graduated in 1954. In 1957 he left to serve a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the East Central States mission and returned in 1959. Frank was a lifelong member of the LDS church and had a burning testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. After retiring Frank and Shirley served a service mission in Adam-Ondi-Ahman Missouri in 2007 and 2008. Frank enjoyed working hard and serving others, especially his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tressa, his parents Frank Erastus and Priscilla Nelson Shill, Siblings - John Shill, Florine Schweikart, Bill Shill, Marlene Johnson, and Fern Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Bassett Shill, children, Rolland Marci Shill, Frank Ronda Shill, Brenda Jeff Osborn, Dana Richard Brown, Shana Robert Roberts and Joseph Jillian Shill, and Sisters Edna Shill and Ella Dean Randall. Frank and Shirley also have 23 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. VIEWING: Thursday, January 7, 5:00-7:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary 52 N. MacDonald in Mesa. FUNERAL: Friday, January 8, viewing at 10:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM at the Lehi LDS church building at 830 E Lehi Rd in Mesa. Interment to follow at the Mesa Cemetery.
