Beulah Hancock Stewart, 87 started her eternal journey, on December 05, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born June 08, 1927 in Taylor, Arizona to Samuel Arthur Hancock, & Florence Vera Colbath. A Life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she held numerous callings in various organizations of the Church. She worked many years in the Stake Sports Organizations, and refereed many volleyball games at the Tri-Stake Center Building in Mesa. She loved to emphasize teamwork & sportsmanship to all the girls, and always had them trying and doing their best. Beulah went to College at ASU in Tempe, Arizona where she was the Captain of Women's Sports. Later she married the love of her life, Everett Stewart and they had 5 Children; Jim, Catherine, Linda, Pamela, Patricia. Beulah was also mother of Judy Mitchell Lamanite daughter. She worked at Johnson-Stewart Sand & Gravel & Redi Mix Company for 15 years in the office. We are grateful for the heritage that we have been given by our loving Mother, and the testimony she instilled in all our hearts. She is preceded in death by, her parents, brothers and sister and grandson-Brian Arthur Stewart. She is survived by her husband Marion Everett Stewart Jr., son Jim Stewart Mimi, daughters; Catherine "Cathi" Lamoreaux Rex, Linda Cogswell Darryl, Pamela Martineau Les, Patricia Larson Jay and Judy Mitchell, 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, brothers; Bill Hancock and Merlin Hancock and sister Donna Hall. Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 11, 2014 at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Monument Ward Building located at 830 E Lehi Rd., Mesa, Arizona 85203. A public visitation will be held from 9:00am -9:30am closed casket with a private family viewing from 9:30am - 10:00am open casket. The interment will be Friday December 12, 2014 at 10:00am at the City of Taylor Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona.
