Donna Lynn Veater
March 9th, 1973 - February 23rd, 2013
Our beloved, Donna Lynn Veater, came into our lives on March 9, 1973 to the proud parents of Jim Veater and Georgia Veater Klotovich. She was a light of sunshine to all who ever knew her. She attended the first kindergarten class of the original Franklin Elementary School. She graduated from Mesa High School, though attending Cyprus High during her junior year. She received the Naismith award, given to only one player boy or girl for Arizona, and inducted to the Mesa City Hall of Fame in 2002. She was recruited by many universities, but chose the University Utah. She married her love, Jon Griffith and managed the family's Big O Tire Store in Gilbert for several years, setting records as usual for Donna. She had a personality that radiated to all who she contacted. She made everybody feel special, and all who knew her will miss her. She was our shooting star, so bright and powerful, but faded way too soon. You will be loved and missed forever. Survived by much family and friends.
