Meldrum Mortuary & Crematory
John Evans
November 30th, 2002 - January 9th, 2013
John Evans, 58, passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Nova Evans. He is survived by his devoted wife, Regina; 2 daughters: Trisha Evans and Tara Pickles; son-in-law, Darren and 3 granddaughters: Gracie, Jaylah and Libbie Pickles; brother, Paul Evans and many loving family members. "The Lord saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be- So he put his arms around you and whispered, 'come with Me'. With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and fade away. Although we loved you dearly we would not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, a beautiful soul put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove us he only welcomes the Best in His Kingdom". A "Celebration of Life" will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 for John's closest friends and family. Family requests any donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
