Angelita Susan Carlos, 70, of the Salt River Indian Community passed away January 1, 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. Angelita was born May 18, 1942 in Sells, AZ to Frank and Clemencia Miller Gomez. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Frederick E. Carlos, Sr. and her son, Frederick E. Carlos, Jr. She is survived by her children; Michael Carlos, of Mesa, AZ and Michelle Carlos of Scottsdale, AZ; her brother Ralph Gomez of Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Angelita attended Haskell Indian College and retired from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as a Legal Secretary. A Wake for Angelita will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Salt River Memorial Hall with an overnight to follow. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at St. Francis Catholic Church at 8:00 AM with burial to follow at the Lehi Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
