LCDR William Oviedo, USNR retired 82, of Mesa, passed away on March 14, 2010 in Mesa, Arizona. Mr. Oviedo was born in Morenci, AZ and raised in Globe, AZ. During his life he lived in many parts of the Valley before moving to Mesa, AZ in the early 90's. Survivors include his wife Marlene Jackson-Oviedo, sons Kenneth Dale Oviedo, Randall Jackson Melodie, Bruce Jackson Monica, duaghters Sue Ellen Tindle Kenneth, Carrie Wilkerson Fred and 11 grandchildren, brother Jim Oviedo, sisters Annie Torrez Manual and Alice Silva. William was preceded in death by father Pete Oviedo, mother Eliza Oviedo, son Richard Mark, wife Helen, brother David and brother Pete Jr. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to: Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
