Ruth Ison Lamoreaux

Ruth Ison Lamoreaux, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2004 at 2:00am. She was born in Miami, Arizona on April 1, 1918 and was the oldest daughter and third child of Robert Lee and Louie M. Savage Ison. She married D. Tenney Lamoreaux 14 Oct 1938 in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. They are the parents of 7 children. During the past 31 years, since Tenney's death on Jun 1, 1973, Ruth continued to reside on the family farm on Cooper Road in Gilbert, later she moved to Leisure World in East Mesa where she has resided until her death. She is survived by 3 sons: Robert D, Jay M. and D. Max Lamoreaux and 3 daughters: Isabelle Cluff, Adeline Palmer and Martha Perkins. One daughter, Lavera Kennedy preceded her in death on January 21, 2001. Ruth is also survived by 44 grandchildren, 81great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2nd, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Century Gardens Ward chapel located at 633 S. Higley Rd. in Mesa. Viewing will be Tuesday evening, June 1st at Meldrum's Mortuary 53 N.
