Victoria Lynn Waites

Victoria Vikki Lynn Waites, 21, returned to God on March 18, 2004. She was born on June 13, 1982. Vikki graduated Mesa High class of 2000. She was very proud of her letter in Badminton. She played J.V. softball and other sports as evidenced by her Green Belt she earned in Karate. Vikki was very involved in community service through her MYLA activities. Vikki possessed strong desires to help others as in her work as a CNA. She was generous to a fault. Her greatest thrill was graduating COTA. She had become part of something big and wonderful. She was making great plans for the future through this new career. Vikki is survived by her parents Theresa and William Beck; sister Sabrina; brothers: James, Billy and Nate; grandparents, Don and Louise Webster; Aunt Tracy Gillispie-Heck; Cousin, Tyler Gillispie; as well as her "GG" George Fleming; uncles: Jon Rubi, and Kevin Webster; and cousin Travis Webster; and her extended families including Arizona DOC. Vikki touched many lives all in different ways, she was funny, spirited, melancholy, witty, but most of all had love to give everyone she met. WE love you Vikki, you shall remain in our hearts always. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 25, 2004 from 6-8:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald St. Mesa, AZ 85201. Services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Central Christian Church, 933 N. Lindsay Rd, Mesa, AZ. Burial will be at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St, Mesa, AZ.
