David Allen McKinnon
June 16th, 1934 - December 6th, 2022
David Alan McKinnon was born June 16th, 1934, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He moved to Douglas, Arizona, with his parents in 1942 after eight years in Tarkio, Missouri. After a year in Douglas, the family moved to Phoenix where he attended Whittier Grade School (49), Phoenix Union High School (53) & Arizona State University (62). He has lived in the valley ever since, except for Army Training in California in 1957, work assignments for two years in Las Vegas, Nevada, and three years in Amarillo, Texas. After graduating from ASU, he managed a T.G.Y. Family Center & Woolco/Woolworth Stores for a total of 15 years. David last worked 18 years for the City of Phoenix Police Department Air Support Unit as an Aviation Parks Clerk for the airplane & helicopter maintenance section until retirement on December 31, 1998. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Murle & Albert McKinnon.
