Mildred Roman Westfall
November 7th, 1932 - April 19th, 2023
Mildred Roman Westfall, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona, after years of battling the progression of Alzheimers Disease. She was born on November 7, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Joseph and Mildred Roman. Mildred graduated from Lindbloom High School in 1950 and later attended business school. On August 31, 1952, she married Orville (Wes) Westfall and lived in Chicago, Illinois until moving to Mesa, Arizona in 1977. Mildred was a kind, funny and caring woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved reading and playing cards. She also enjoyed travelling on mission trips and has been to many countries in Europe and Asia to spread the Word of God. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Orville (Wes) Westfall, son Joseph Westfall and, son Michael Westfall. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, brother Arthur Roman and brother Donald Roman. Mildred is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Westfall) Bergel; grandchildren Joseph, Cheryl, Amanda and Timothy; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A Life Celebration for Mildred Westfall will be held at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N Macdonald, Mesa, AZ 85201 on May 3, 2023 from 4-6pm.
