Ethel Thompson, born Dec. 22, 1931, in Eugene to Lloyd and Evelyn Harpster, passed away Jan. 29th. She was 89. She married Cecil Thompson on Aug. 4, 1950 and they were married for 62 years until his passing in 2013. Mom was a gentle soul who enjoyed gardening, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by 2 sons, Curt (Paula), Craig, and one granddaughter, Amy.
