Marisela "Selly" Angelina Calleros
July 24th, 2001 - November 15th, 2023
Marisela Angelina Calleros passed away peacefully in her room at our home on November 15, 2023. She was only 22 years old. Our family is deeply saddened by her unexpected sudden death. "Selly," as she was lovingly known, was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on July 24, 2001, but she also lived in San Antonio and here in Colorado Springs where she passed away. She was a fun spirited soul with the biggest heart, if you ever needed anything at all she was always there to help. She was a mother and homemaker. Selly loved to paint, especially the scenic outdoors, and bake various treats. Her passion since the loss of her brother was running his tribute Instagram, and his music and merchandise company, W1ck3d Wayz. She always strived to keep her brother's name alive and make sure his daughter (her niece) Araselli would be financially set. She found comfort and peace in doing this for her little brother and also helping others, as she would give you her last few dollars if she felt you were in need. Marisela was a beautiful soul inside and out, as she cared deeply for all the people around her. She was always kind and considerate, and positively impacted so many lives around her. Selly was also a wonderful and caring mother. She was a heart transplant survivor but she risked her own life to have a child, Moses Nehyo Calleros. She loved him like no other, he was her inspiration to live even when she was so grief-stricken by the loss of her little brother. She was a strong fighter in life as she suffered from many complications due to her heart transplant which she received when she was just 14 years old. But Selly always put others first no matter what, she had a huge heart and the most beautiful caring soul, she was strong-willed and fearless as she had been through so much in life, yet she always had a smile on her face and open arms to greet you, no matter what she was going through in her own life. She is survived by her son, Moses Nehyo Calleros; her father, Santiago; her mother, Maciel; her sisters, Isabella and Gabriella; her aunts Nancy and Sherri; her uncles John and Rudy; her Grandpa Sodi; her baby's father, Cameron; and many many cousins and close friends. She will be forever missed and loved by so many, Marisela Angelina Calleros I love you and miss you so much already, until we meet again may God hold you for me in His loving arms. Love you always and forever, Dad
