Memorial

In Loving Memory of Lourdes Tuazon Lourdes Tuazon was born on March 26, 1949, in the Philippines. She left this world on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She passed away surrounded by the warmth of her family, transitioning from this life into the next with peace and grace. Lourdes, also known as Ludy, is survived by her two devoted sisters, Teresita Burrola and Corazon Patricio, brother-in-law Frederick Burrola, who shared with her a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love. She also leaves behind three nephews: Roderick Burrola, Christopher and Augustin Patricio, two nieces: Christina and Annemarie Patricio and one grandniece, Jennaliz Blanco all of whom were touched by her kindness and wisdom. In the embrace of heaven, Lourdes is reunited with her beloved parents, Andrew and Rosita Tuazon and her two siblings, Josephine and Alez Tuazon. Lourdes lived a life filled with passion and purpose. She found joy in the simple pleasures of reading. She loved to read books by all the well-known authors like Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, Janes Austen, Nora Roberts, John Grisham, Nicholas Sparks, Mary Higgins Clark, and so many more authors. Her room looked like a library, and you would find Ludy reading many of the books she had in her bookcase hundreds of times. In addition, for her love of reading; she enjoyed watching tennis matches, the current events in the news, a variety of games shows, old classic movies like the Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, watching EWTN (Catholic channel), and participating in the daily masses and rosaries, watching the Hallmark Channel, law and suspense thrillers. She immersed herself in the melodies of music, especially loving and listening to the oldies but goodies like The Carpenters, Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, Connie Francis, Frank Sinatra, and Doris Day. Yet, above all else, her greatest hoy came from being surrounded by her family and embracing the teachings of the Catholic faith. Lourdes was a living testament to the power of resilience and faith. Despite facing the daunting prognosis of cancer with only three months to live, she defied all odds and blessed her loved ones with a additional 3 years and 7 months of cherished moments, holidays, birthdays, and shared experiences. Her unwavering faith in God sustained her through every trial and triumph, inspiring all who knew her to believe in miracles and to cherish each precious moment of life. As we bid farewell to Lourdes, we will hold onto the memories of her laughter, her love and her unwavering spirit. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her legacy of love and faith will continue to illuminate our lives forevermore. May her soul find eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Creator, and may her memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, dear Ludy/Auntie Ludy. You will be deeply missed, your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved you.
