Mrs. Doris Frazier passed from time to eternity on December 14, 2016. Mrs. Frazier was born in Houston, TX. She attended Phyllis Wheatley High School and enjoyed growing up in Texas. Places lived during life; Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and moved to Seaside, CA in 1974. Mrs. Frazier worked at Pepperdine University, Los Angeles, in the Food Service Department and also Monterey Peninsula College in the Food Service Department. Mrs. Frazier later obtained her CNA/HHA credentials and worked as a Healthcare Provider. Mrs. Frazier joined the Community Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend G.E. Hooks in 1974. Mrs. Frazier served in the Women's Mission Union, the Inspirational Choir, Vacation Bible School, on the Sunday School Staff, and the I Help Ministry. Mrs. Frazier was kind and compassionate and always enjoyed serving people in need. Mrs. Frazier especially loved preparing food for bereaved families, and special Church occasions. Mrs. Frazier leaves to celebrate her life, her beloved daughter Rosalyn Jackson, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and many friends. Her husband Nathaniel Frazier, and her parents preceded her in death. Tentative date of services: December 28, 2016, Visitation, 6:00-8:00 p.m.; Services at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Pine Avenue, Pacific Grove, CA 93950, Reverend Samuel Hayes, Pastor.

For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
