Toshiko Yamaguchi
August 11th, 1930 - March 19th, 2018
Toshiko Yamaguchi passed away on March 18th. She was born in Japan on August 11, 1930. She was the middle sibling of 3 children. Her older brother, Takehashi, and younger sister, Kikue, both preceded her in death. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She loved making quilts. She played Bingo 3 times a week with her friends. She traveled and liked escorting friends and family visiting from Japan. Toshiko is survived by her only son, Tosh; 3 nieces, Aiko, Seiko, and Reiko all of Tokyo, Japan; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Takeshi and Tazuko, and their children Tadao and Hiroshi all of San Francisco. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 7th from 2pm-5pm at the Elks Lodge, 150 Mar Vista Dr. in Monterey. Donations may be made to the SPCA of Monterey County.

Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
