Betty O. Fong
April 27th, 1959 - October 4th, 2014
Betty ended her battle with cancer peacefully in her home alongside her family on Saturday, October 04, 2014. She was born on April 27, 1959 in Hong Kong to the parents of Sau Wah Seto and Art Fong and moved to San Francisco at the age of three. During these formative years, she learned the importance of family and education that would shape her life's journey. She is survived by her immediate family: Nelly Fong, San Francisco, CA; Nancy and Benny Chang, Moraga, CA; Anna Fong and Scot Ferrell, Castro Valley, CA; Amy and Doug Wong, Alameda, CA; Jeffrey Fong, San Francisco, CA; and nephew and nieces, Christopher Chang, Kimberly Chang, Kayla Ferrell, Sarah Wong and Kristen Wong. Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
