Seaside - Maria Luisa Sulca De Sanchez, age 89, fondly known by everyone who knew her as "Mama Lucha" passed way on August 8, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Mama Lucha was born in Provincial de Canete, Lima, Peru on June 21, 1924. There will be a visitation at Seaside Funeral Home at Mission Memorial Park on August 15, 2013 from 3-8 pm. Burial will take place at a later date in Lima, Peru.

Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
