Cypress, TX - Martin Lopez passed away May 1, 2013 at his new home. Martin Lopez was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 16, 1930. He is survived by his wife, Berta Kelly Lopez; daughter, Tina Lopez; sister, Esther Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Martin lived most of his life in the Pacific Grove area. Martin is a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran who served with pride, loyalty and love of his country. Martin was a wonderful and loving father, husband and friend. Martin was a 10+ year member of the Monterey Chapter Motorcycle Rights Organization - Abate 35. A true "outdoorsman" all his life, he loved fishing, hunting, and camping in Bridgeport. His favorite recreation was riding his motorcycle and enjoying time with friends. He also frequented the Moose Lodge and taking spins around the dance floor. He was a wonderful Christian man to be around; he loved life to its fullest at every moment possible. He will be greatly missed and loved forever. Services will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey. Viewing will be from 10:00am-12:00 noon prior to the service. A procession will follow to Mission Memorial Park in Seaside for burial with Military Honors.
