Emerald Paige Dozier
May 8th, 1998 - February 13th, 2015
Emerald Paige Dozier, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, and most importantly mother (to her dog and cat,) was promised eternal peace on February 13th, 2015. Emerald was born on May 8th, 1998 in Monterey, California. Naturally, Emerald always kept the door to her vast knowledge held wide open; Knowledge that supplemented the sharp-witted and mature, yet extremely well rounded, Emerald Paige. Emerald was a very special keep-you-on-your-toes type of young lady. She was proficient in little known facts, rare findings and mysteries, which may or may not have been absorbed after reading the super graphics on the sides of U-Haul trucks! Not only was she a bearer of knowledge, whether useful or simply interesting, she was rather thorough in all of her endeavors. As her family's not-so-average, but above average teenager, you may or may not have been wildly impressed after hearing her flawlessly sing each and every lyric from a plethora of 70's rock-and-roll songs or naturally belt out along to the rip roaring lyrics of her favorite band, Bastille. Emerald hopped from interest to interest, yet had an exclusive affinity for the WWE (she swore she would rise to be a wrestling diva and earn a championship belt!), alternative rock music, and TMZ. Frankly speaking, she was in fact the "Pop Culture Princess" and there was not a soul who could stump her knowledge! Whether you spent a minute, hour or day with her, you bet you would have left pampered and pretty, educated, merely laughing hysterically, or all of the aforementioned. Emerald Paige, an extraordinary young lady who touched so many lives, will undoubtedly radiate among us forever. Emerald is survived by her mother, Gina Kausin, father, Emmanuel Dozier, stepfather, Robert Fajilan, three brothers, Roland Kausin, Jordan Kausin and Damian Dozier, grandmother, Maria Kausin, aunt, Tina Satow, cousins, Tatumn and Olivia Satow. Awaiting her eternal young spirit include her maternal grandfather Roland "Papa" Kausin, paternal grandmother Martha "Granny" Hampton, and her first-loved "child"/kitty Jojo. Emerald's celebration of peaceful release will be held on Thursday, February 19th at 3 p.m. at the Monterey Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, Monterey, CA 93940.
