Cristina Reyes Nacino

Monterey - Cristina Reyes Nacino went to be with her Lord on February 15, 2015 at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula surrounded by many members of her loving family. She was born in Ormoc City Leyte, Philippines on July 31, 1926 to Bernardo and Emelia Reyes. During Cristina's lifetime she lived in many locals - Manila, Philippines, Chicago, IL., Oxnard, CA., Sacramento, CA., Ft. Ord, CA., Marina, CA. eventually settling in Salinas, CA. She worked as a housekeeper for the Monterey Beach Hotel in Seaside, CA. until her retirement. Cristina enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing solitaire cards, listening to classical music and singing. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was active in the Fil-Am Club. She is survived by daughters: Josephine Duldulao, Carmencita Diaz, Jesusa Balingit, Rosalinda Sarmiento and Evangeline Robinson; and 2 sons - Richard Nacino, Honorio Javier, Jr. and 22 grandchildren. Cristina was proceeded in death by Honorio Javier (1972) and Dominador C. Nacino (1978). A reception will follow the burial at Chef Lee's Mandarin House, 2031 N. Fremont, Monterey, CA. 93940.
