Dolores Patricia Turnan, 48, passed away on Aug 3, 2011 at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Dolores was born on October 7.1962, in Carmel, CA to Patricia Lebrown and James Marquez. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Thomas Turnan, children Rosa Ruiz of Marina, Angel Mendoza of Monterey and Anthony Salinas of Texas. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, Azalia Armelin (13), Chris Angel Faine (2) and Amylia Dolores Faith Faine (5 months). Several brothers, Sam Lucas of San Francisco, Anthony Marquez of Seaside, Joseph Martinez of San Jose. Her only sister, Victoria Ann Marquez, preceded her in death in 1982 and of course, BUDDY, the family dog. She was a lifelong resident of the Monterey Peninsula. As a child she attended Covell Elementary School, King Middle School and Fremont Junior High. Later on she attended Cypress High School. She earned her GED later on in life. She spent most of her younger years taking care of her mother,her children,and her sister?s son.She loved children and always hated to see children in pain. She worked for Skips Auto Parts as a Parts Delivery Driver for several years,where she met her husband Tom. Later went to work for Precision Auto Parts. When the business closed, she was a stay at home mom concentrating on her family. If you would like you may make a Donation to the American Cancer Society or to St. Judes children's Hospital in her name.
