Betty Lou Alcaraz, 84 of Monterey, California August 18, 1936 - September 1, 2020 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Betty Lou Alcaraz, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She passed away on September 1st, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was a devoted housewife who worked in housekeeping for many years. Betty is survived by her 5 children, Mario Alcaraz (Marge) of Seaside, Martin Alcaraz of Seaside, Emma Douglas (Tommy) of Monterey, Emilio Alcaraz (Paula) of Monterey, and Cynthia Cardinale (John) of Napa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren. 1 granddaughter Alicia, as well as 9 grandsons, David, Mario, Tommy, Erik, Joey, Daniel, Michael, John-Ray, and Matthew. 12 great-grandchildren, as well as 2 sisters, Mary Jane Munoz, and Frances Voss and several nieces and nephews. Betty’s outgoing personality and love for people will be missed by all that knew her. PSA: At the service for Betty Alcaraz all attendee's must be practicing the social distancing rules and a mask is required at the graveside service as well. Thank you to all in advance.
