Lamar Thomas Etherington, 52, of Ocala, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Lamar was born in Gainesville, FL and moved to Ocala in 2012. He was a truck driver for Smith Trucking of Sylvania, OH. His hobbies included motorcycle riding and hunting. Lamar is survived by his fiancee' Sherry Little, Mother Johnie Etherington, son Tommy Etherington, former wife Jeanna and their two sons, Landen and Jacksen of Phil Campbell, AL, daughter Maura Etherington and her son, Bryant Prince of Haleyville, AL, brother Doug Etherington of South Bend, IN, sister Penni Fansler and husband Jeff of Walkerton, IN, and sister Rachel Raduns and husband Jon of Elizabeth City, NC. He was predeceased by his father Stephen Etherington and Granddaughter, Addi Etherington. Visitation will be Monday, June 4th from 6-8 pm at Hiers Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala. The funeral ceremony will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
