Consuelo "Connie" Novas Myers

Consuelo (Connie) Novas Myers, 87, of Ocala, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. Consuelo was born in Spain to Jose and Josefa Novas, and moved to the Ocala area in 1956 from New York. Connie was an extremely talented floral designer with exquisite taste and a special flair for color. She worked at Belleview Florist for over twenty years. Connie never met a stranger & everyone that knew her loved her immensely. She had a heart of gold and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt & friend to many. She spent her free time with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Consuelo is survived by her sons Joseph Saez (Shirley) of Morriston and Keith Myers (Tina) of Belleview; Sisters Vickie McCue of Ocala & Carmen Fortugno of New York, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren & numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose & Josefa Novas; and her brother Joseph Novas. Funeral services will be Friday, September the 14th, at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10 am, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34470 (352)-629-7171.
