Donna Marie Fromal Gaw

Donna Marie Fromal Gaw, age 60, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 20, 2019. Donna graduated from William Penn High School in New Castle, DE in 1976, she lived in the New Castle area for most of her life, then moved to Florida with her family in 1983. Donna graduated from Webster College in 1998 with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting, and worked part-time while her boys were young. She was the matriarch of her family, always coordinating family dinners, camping trips, fun trips to the beach and could always be found on the sidelines cheering on her grandchildren in their many activities. In addition to her own children, she was a “mom” to many. She had a huge, generous heart and if she opened her home to you, you weren’t just a friend you were family! Donna is survived by her husband Jamie, her sons Keith (Kelly), Roger (Terri) and Tony, daughters Brittany (Matt) and Jessica (Nate), brothers Dan Fromal (Pam) and Dennis Fromal (Sherri) and grandchildren Chase, Saban, Justice, Austin, Riley, Mileigh, Brayden, Kooper, Barron, Alannah, Maddox and Ava. Also survived by nieces Danielle, Diana, Kayla, Kelsey, Jennifer, nephews Don, Jesse, James, PJ, Josh, and Ryan. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis Donald Fromal and Dorothy Lorraine Fromal, her brother Don Fromal, and her grandparents Keith and Geneva Williams and Francis and Madeline Fromal. Services will be held on March 23rd at 6:00pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 East Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Donna requested that donations be sent to her granddaughter Ava’s medical fund at Answers for Ava #Avastrong.
