Rebecca Ann Wetherell

Rebecca Ann “Becca” Wetherell, of Ocala, FL, was unexpectedly taken from this world as we know it on Monday, March 18th, at the young age of 30. She went ahead of us to be with the Lord that day. Becca was a strong woman of God who used every opportunity she could to share her faith and bring others to the Lord. She was an insurance agent as well as a full time student, and was following her call that God put on her heart to be a Christian counselor. She was very active in her church as well as the community. She loved the outdoors, spending time with her family, and fishing with her father and siblings. Becca was the most down to earth, sincere person we know. She found special unique ways to have personal attachments to everyone she was associated with. Becca has impacted so many lives that we never knew about in such positive ways that are still unfolding before our eyes. This is all for the greater good and there is more to come. Becca is survived by her mother and step-dad Lisa and Charlie Sardisco, her dad David Jones Sr., her father, Jeffrey Wetherell, sister Vanessa Wetherell, sister in Christ Brooke Schrab, sister Shannon O’Dowd, and brothers David Jones, Jr., Nick Sardisco, and Nicholas Wetherell, brother in law Aaron Scott, nephews Evan and Liam, nieces Lexi, Eleanor, Kylie, and Abigail, maternal grandparents Tony and Margaret Calandra, paternal grandparents Richard and Sharon Baiardi, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 31st at Ocala Christian Church, 3201 NE 25th Ave. in Ocala, at 2:30 pm. (352) 806-2252.
