Jimmy Troy Parrish

Jimmy Troy Parrish, Jr. 48, of Ocala, Florida, passed away at Brandley House in Summerfield on November 27, 2021. He was born April 7, 1973, the son of the late Kathryn Dale and Jimmy (Doc) Troy Parrish, Sr. Troy was born in Gainesville, Florida and was a lifelong citizen of Ocala, Florida. Troy spent his life as a Drywall finisher working most years alongside his dad and other close relatives. Always an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loyal to Chevy trucks until the end. Troy is survived by his sister, Kathryn Renee Showalter; his brother, Richard Wayne Parrish; nieces and nephews, Candie Showalter; Cody Showalter; Stephanie Parrish; Lucas Parrish; Ricky Parrish; Emily Parrish; Addison Parrish and his Great Nephew Doc Showalter. Troy also leaves behind his best friend on four legs Jitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Kathy Parrish. A visitation for Troy will be held on Friday, December 10 for family and friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (910 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34470).
