Tina Lynn (Welch) Lunsford

Tina Lynn (Welch) Lunsford was born on October 25, 1956, in Palm Beach County to Mary (Moody) and Cecil E. Welch. Her final days were spent at home in Salt Springs, FL. Tina passed away peacefully, with her husband, children, and family by her side on April 22, 2022 at the age of 65. Tina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had an unconditional love for all with a heart of gold. She was extremely strong in her faith, helping others and spending time with family. No matter the circumstances she always had a big smile on her face and possessed a special gift of making anyone feel special. Tina is survived by her siblings, Ronnie (Barbara) Welch and Wanda DeWitt; her spouse of 18 years, Walter; her children, Mark (Susan), Cecil (Morgan), Woodrow and Steven; grandchildren, Leo and Madison; and a large extended family. She preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Tina's life will be held at the Salt Life Church (2932 North Highway 19, Fort McCoy, FL 32134) on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 10 a.m. Following the service, a reception be held in the church's Dining Hall. In lieu of flowers due to Tina's passion for helping others, the family is asking for donations to Camp SoZo (www.sozokids.org) or Help Agency Food Bank (Mailing Address: 19186 NE 13th Street, Silver Springs, FL 34488). The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice and Salt Life Church for their care and support during the last months of Tina's journey.
