Patricia Ann Tucker

Patrica Ann Tucker went to be with the lord on January 18, 2024, at age 76. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Daniel W. (Skip) Tucker; her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Scott Jason Tucker and Stefannie Tucker; her daughter and son-in-law Krista Renee Tucker Williams and Troy Williams; and her grandchildren Brooke Williams, Leah Williams, Nolan Tucker and Ethan Tucker; her brother William Eggl of Forest Virginia, and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lyle and Helen Eggl. Pattie was born May 6, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lyle and Helen Eggl. The family moved to Tavares, Florida in 1958 and was a graduate of Tavares High School and Lake Sumter Community College. She was a member of the National Honor Society along with many other school organizations. She was a homemaker, worked in accounting at Florida Telephone Corp. In Ocala, business partner with Skip helping manage Travel Plus Inc., BarTuc Llc. And Sun-X of Ocala. She served on the Board for ‘Cornerstone’ a senior adult ministry at Trinity Baptist Church. She loved to work in her flower garden and in the yard. Pattie really loved to do crafts and decorate the home. She was also handy with a sewing machine, always fixing family, friends and neighbors' clothes. She taught Precept Bible Studies, for over 20 years in several local churches. Her love for the Lord was evident to all of those who knew her. There was hardly a day when she was not studying and reading her Bible. Next to her love for the Lord was her devotion to her family. She was a true example as to what a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother should be. She lived life daily as a Christian and we know she received the wonderful words as she entered Heaven “Well done my true and faithful servant.” In Lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting a donation to Trinity Baptist Church (Cornerstone Ministry- Operation Christmas Child) in honor of Pattie Tucker.
