Steven E. Gallop

Steven E. Gallop (74) of Ocala, Florida passed away on January 8, 2024, at West Marion Hospital in Ocala, Florida with family at his side. He was predeceased by his wife Lonnette Gallop, parents Bill and Margaret Gallop and sister, Michelle Gallop. He is survived by his brother, Mark (Robin) Gallop, his two daughters, Nikki (Jeff) Smith, Amy Gallop, grandchildren, Tyler (Ashlee) Gallop, Mason Gallop, Dustin Gallop, McKenzie Smith (James DeLuca), Ryleigh Mitchell, great grandchildren, Dawson DeLuca, Gabriella Gallop, and Leighton Gallop, sister-in-law Beth Clapp, brother-in-law Budd (Debbie) Mann, and nieces and nephews: Erinn LaRowe Mason, Ryan (Leigh) LaRowe, Jessica Mann, Justin Mann, Brooke Beresford, Travis Lambert, and Chelsey (Allen) Jones. Steve was born in Lansing Michigan on September 22, 1949. He attended Roscommon High School and graduated in 1967. He went to work for Lockheed Martin and was transferred to the Ocala area in 1997. While working for Lockheed he went to school to further his career and obtained an electrical engineering degree. Steve was an easy-going person who loved his family very much. He was elated when he became a grandfather but even more so when he became a great-grandfather. Nothing else was more important to him than his family. His celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by family. In lieu of flowers his family requests that you donate to a charity of your choice in honor of him.
