Renner, James “Jim”, 72, 0f The Villages, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Born on September 10, 1945 in Peoria, IL to the proud parents of George & Shirley (Davidson) Renner, Jim was a retired Federal Agent with U.S. customs for over 20 years and a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He truly loved his motorcycles, sailboats, his family (especially his grandkids) and his dog, Sophie. Survivors include his beloved wife, Carol, who has been together with him for over 20 years; his children: John & Karen; his sister, Ann Williams; his brother, John, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service with USMC Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 @ 11:00AM at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 SR7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s honor to the American Heart Association @ www.heart.org and friends can reach out directly to Carol Renner @ [email protected]. Arrangements are under the artful care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, FL.
