Randall W. Burmeister

Randall W. Burmeister, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was 75. He was born on March 29, 1945 in Evanston, Illinois and raised in Des Plaines. He attended Main West High School and graduated in 1963. Randy was a proud veteran of The United States Army and served in Germany. He worked as a Sales Executive for ABF. Randy met the love of his life Coree at work and their first date was on his birthday. A year later they got married on his birthday and have been married for almost 52 years. They retired to Florida in 2011. Randy loved boating on the St. Croix River in Minnesota, was a prankster and would scare kids on Halloween, and was a football fanatic. Spending time with Coree was his favorite. He is survived by his wife, Coree Burmeister; son, Rhett Burmeister (Ella); daughter, Courtney Merritt (Ray); granddaughter, Paige Merritt; and brother, Daniel Burmeister (Jeanette). He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lucille Burmeister. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2 pm, located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162.
