Jack Rittenhouse Ruth, age 78, of The Villages formerly of Hatfield Pennsylvania passed away and went to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Jack served his country in the United States Air Force. Jack was an avid fly fisherman. He enjoyed traveling to Pine Creek for over 30 years to some of his favorite fishing spots. He also enjoyed golfing especially after moving to The Villages.Jack attended Fairway Christian Church where he was active in Sunday school, ushering and greeting. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Flyers fan. Jack was born March 14, 1943 the son of the late Melvin and Mildred Ruth.Jack was married to Peggy, the love of his life for 56 years. He is survived by their daughter, Connie and son in law, Jeff. He leaves behind his 4 grandchildren, Amanda (Bobby), Carly (Kris), Rachel and Ryan and 4 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Adrianna, Olivia and Amelia. He is proceeded in death by his brother, Robert and sister, Doris. A celebration of life will be held in both Florida and Pennsylvania as follows:
