Emil Richard Anderson Born January 3, 1942 in Copiague, Long Island, NY; died March 26, 2018 in Leesburg, FL. Richard was a renaissance man, a creative artist. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Karan; daughters Karianne (Daniel) Jaffa and Melissa (Jared) Andrus; four grandchildren; a brother; and sister. Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center. Interment was at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with honors.
