Lawrence "Larry" Ray Pool

Lawrence "Larry" Ray Pool of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on December 2, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born November 5, 1947 to Zearon Pool and Norma Bower in Tulare, California. Larry went to high school at John Glen High School and graduated in 1966. He went on to get his real estate license in California and Colorado and worked both as a realtor and title closer. His last role was with Fountain Creek RV Park for about twelve years. While in high school, he enjoyed playing tennis in which he lettered. He was also an avid fan of the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos. The whole family went camping every year, and on one of the trips Larry saved one of his daughters from drowning. Larry did teach Lori how to play tennis, which she did participate in during middle school. He took his granddaughter Senya as his "date" to a wedding that they both enjoyed. He was also able to walk both of his daughters down the aisle at their weddings. Larry always lived life as if it were a fast-moving game. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Zearon Pool and Norma Bower; stepfather, Dean McIndoo; brother, Doug McIndoo; granddaughter, Dawn Leiker; and great-grandson, George Leiker. Larry is survived by his daughter, Lori (David) Leiker of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughter, Michelle (Richard) Bartlett of Portland, Oregon; grandson, Christopher Jedynak; grandson, Joshua (Lindsey) Leiker; granddaughter, Senya (Christopher) Washington; Genavy Bartlett, Brady Bartlett and Gabriel Bartlett; and great-grandchildren, Robert Christian, Andrew Douglass, Evelyn Noel, Charlotte Lee Rose and unborn Michael Ray.
