Brian Park Espravnik

Brian Park Espravnik, 26, passed away at 4:33 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at a local hospital in Colorado Springs. Colorado. Brian was born on July 23, 1996 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Maria and Homer Espravnik. He was their second-born child and only son. Brian was born with hip dysplasia and a congenital heart defect. Later in life, he was diagnosed with behavioral and learning disorders. Despite all of life's hurdles, he was a happy and kindhearted person. He loved interacting with people and never knew a stranger. His life aspirations were to become a chef, and to just help people in general. He enjoyed live music with his dad and would always dance like nobody was watching. He also found great joy in spending time with his niece, Coraline. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Espravnik; his paternal grandparents, James and Marie Espravnik; his maternal grandmother, Joan Kung; and his cousin, Keagan Kung-Korte. Brian is survived by his father, Homer Espravnik; his sister, Heather (Adriel) Espravnik; his niece, Coraline; his grandfather, Dr. Luke Kung; his aunts, Shirley Espravnik, Mary Jane Espravnik, and Rebecca (Bex) Kung-Korte; and his uncles, Howard Espravnik and Michael Korte.
