Sadie Mae Prather

Sadie Mae Prather, 84, passed away September 25, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on January 28, 1938 in Selma, Alabama to Lafayette and Annie (Mitchell) Watts. Sadie was a homemaker who professed her love for the Church at an early age. Her and her sisters sang in the church choir while in Alabama and Sadie went on to become involved with Ministry in the Holiness Churches in Kansas City and Colorado Springs. Sadie is survived by her sons, Fred Johnson, Frederick Johnson, Frank (Latanya) Johnson, and Freeman Johnson; daughters, Diane (Benny) Titus, Doris Johnson, Denise Cherry, and Donna Johnson; sisters, Laura Townsend and Gertrude Thomas; grandchildren, Darnell, Danielle, Dashell, Darrell, Dia, Dianna, Deanna, Carl, Keyla, Roshay, Rayshun, Lora, David, Anthony, William, Marlon, Jayland, Monay, Dennis, Deshawn, Darren, Quinton, Devan, Xavier and Isaiah; and great-grandchildren, Davion, Bennea, Breauna, Sole, Saniyah, Shiyanne, Maliyah, Rajahna, Lariya, Layana, Jiyair, Lavaya, Kaydin, Kaiear, Rayquan, Ryonna, Rayiahna, Raykeeis, Rayvontae, Jeremy, Jazmaine, Laiyla, Kjhanae, Keyasiah, Malayjha, Jada, Jadice, and Jaeshawn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lafayette and Annie Watts; daughter, Delores Green; son, Floyd Johnson; and sisters, Dorothy Hickman, Clara Tivis, and Annette Butts.
