Lauren Joy Miller

Lauren Joy Miller, 20, passed away September 13, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Lauren was born March 23, 2002 in Kailua, Hawaii to Lisa D. Miller and Todd C. Miller. Lauren is survived by her mother, Lisa D. Miller; her sister, Annelise G. Miller; her brother, Brett C. Miller; as well as a host of loving extended family. Lauren is preceded in death by her father, Lt Col Todd C. Miller, U.S. Air Force. Lauren warmed every room she entered. Her wild soul led her on many adventures. She found her respite deep in the mountains or curled up on a sunny beach. Lauren skillfully healed and encouraged others. She was a gifted yoga teacher that could ease the busiest of minds. She was careful with her words and carried wisdom beyond her years. Lauren said what needed to be said, often the voice of reason. Lauren embraced the unknown with unparalleled bravery. Lauren was the reigning family connect four champion and the impetus to spontaneous road trips. Lauren mastered several cheesy accents which lit up family dinners. She believed life should not be boring. Lauren was a sunflower, able to bring a smile to anyone's face. Lauren was ridiculously funny, incredibly loving, and warm. The void left by Lauren's death is incomprehensible. She deeply touched the lives of many. Lauren Miller will not be forgotten.
