Robert "Bob" Byron Hawkins, Jr., 82, died July 22, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Bob was born October 12, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Byron and Mary Esther (Coe) Hawkins.Bob Hawkins was a self-made man who owned his own trucking company. He was very intelligent and knew a lot about a lot. He could speak on many subjects.He enjoyed many hobbies, including camping, fishing, spending time with family, riding motorcycles, race cars, fixing cars, and spending time with his friends, who were very dear to him. Bob had numerous cats that he loved dearly.Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hawkins, Sr. and Mary Esther Skally; and two sisters.He is survived by his daughter, Starla Quinn; granddaughters, Shalane Amber (Colby) Simonis and Cailee Rose Quinn; and great-grandson, Gabriel Joseph Quinn.Bob was loved by all of his family and friends, and will be missed dearly.Memorial Service, 1:00PM, Thursday, August 4, 2022, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
