Usha Luna, 59, of Haines City, FL, passed away on May 12, 2024, at AdventHealth Tampa. Born on May 13, 1964, in Rosignol, Guyana, to Deonan and Chandrawatty Sarabjit Jhoda. Usha relocated to Florida from Sayreville, NJ, in May 2022. For over a decade, she devoted her career to educating others in the agriculture industry, leaving a lasting impact on those she taught. Usha was a former member of St Stanislaus Kostka Church in Sayreville, NJ, and a current member of The Gate Church in Davenport, FL.

Usha enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, decorating for every holiday, embarking on adventures through hiking, watching movies, traveling, singing, dancing, and above all, spending time with her cherished grandson. It was said that she was a vibrant, confident, protective, selfless, and loving woman who accepted everyone as they were.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Deonan and Chandrawatty. Usha is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Hector Luna; sons, Robert (Melissa) Luna of Edison, NJ, Justin (Danielle) Luna of Orlando, FL, and Christian Luna of Haines City, FL; grandson, Rey Carter Luna; brothers, Khairo, Prakash (Kamo), Deoraj, Khemraj, and Suraj Jhoda; sisters, Sharda and Kamla Jhoda; brother-in-law, Tommy (Lisa) Padilla of Clark, NJ; parents-in-law, Anibal (Isabel) Luna of Spotswood, NJ; brother-in-law, Junior (Ann and Jason) Luna of Staten Island, NY; cousin, Jackie (Bill) Herbek of Bound Brook, NJ; cousin, Patricia (Field) Kellog of Jacksonville NC; nieces Pinky, Bianca, and several other nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 5:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm. A Hindu service will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Usha's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
