William Charles Muir

Bill Muir, age 78, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a retired drapery contractor, a loving husband, father, grandpa, great grandfather and friend to many.William Charles Muir was born April 7, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Stuart and Marcella (Rasor) Muir.He will be best remembered for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and ability to make people laugh. Bill provided a wonderful life for his family and at the same time, enjoyed fishing and his children's and grandchildren's sports. Bill's daughter Marci said that: "to believe in yourself is something that is taught to you by your parents. The belief that you are unconditionally loved and accepted is the greatest gift you could ever receive." Her father was her best friend, her role model, her teacher, her strength, her coach and biggest fan. He is survived by his sons, Chuck (Jeanie) Muir of Las Vegas, Nevada and Steve (Andrea) Muir of Wrightwood, California; his daughters, Lori (Larry) Keever of Scottsdale, Arizona and Marci Muir of Colorado Springs, Colorado.Bill has eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also a sister, Virginia Muir of Valdez, Alaska; and friend and former wife Carolyn Muir of Scottsdale, Arizona. He is now in fisherman's paradise...catching the big ones.
