Rita Pilarski Dimm

Rita Pilarski Dimm, 62, passed away March 11, 2022 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born September 15, 1959 in Zweibrcken, Germany. She was raised in the United States by her parents, Robert and Beverly Pilarski. Rita was a resident of south Louisiana until Hurricane Katrina had other plans in 2005. While in Louisiana, Rita played a vital role in managing and running the family business, Dimm's Nursery in Kenner. Dimm's Nursery was a prominent business in the area for many years. Rita always treasured her years of working at the nursery with her family, and all customers who encountered her simply loved her. After moving to Colorado, Rita began working for eviCore Healthcare where she eventually worked her way up to a supervisory position. Rita went back to school later in life to obtain her bachelor's degree, something she was very proud of. She was loved dearly by her many co-workers at eviCore who quickly became her family here in Colorado. Rita had one son, Dwayne, whom she adored. Rita is survived by Dwayne and his wife, Amanda, both residents of Prairieville, Louisiana; her mother, Beverly Pilarski of South Bend, Indiana; and her brother, Michael Pilarksi and his wife, Kozue Takai of Thailand.She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Pilarski.Remembrance Gathering, 11:00AM-1:00PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.Friends and family are welcome to attend.
